Disco salades de l’été
Join the “Disco Salads” at the Moulin d’Eymet!
Creative recipes, music, and good cheer to transform local, seasonal produce—whether “ugly” or surplus—into delicious dishes.
Every Saturday, the Moulin d’Eymet invites you to a fun and meaningful event:
– discover seasonal fruits and vegetables from our farmers,
– save them before they’re thrown away because they’re too small, misshapen, or surplus,
– cook them together in a group workshop,
– share a meal together,
– and fight food waste!
We cook to music, chat in a cheerful atmosphere, enjoy a meal together… and leave with a smile and new, creative, seasonal recipes!
Reservations required.

Planning your stay around local events
There is always something happening around Le Petit Capelier. Issigeac’s famous Sunday market takes over the medieval village every week, while Bergerac, Eymet, Villeréal and Castillonnès host regular markets, brocantes, concerts, exhibitions and festivals throughout the year.
During the summer, look out for marchés gourmands and village fêtes, where long communal tables, local food, Bergerac wines and live music make for wonderfully relaxed evenings. The vineyards around Monbazillac and Bergerac also host tastings, concerts and special events throughout the season.
We update this calendar regularly as new events are announced, including some of the smaller local happenings that can be surprisingly difficult to discover online.
Staying at Le Petit Capelier? Check the calendar before you arrive — or subscribe to it — and you’ll always have ideas for what to do during your stay in the Dordogne.
