Journées européennes du Patrimoine au Parc le Bournat
For the European Heritage Days, Parc le Bournat invites you to come and (re)immerse yourself in 1900, free of charge. During a visit, the village comes alive with activities and attractions throughout the seasons, bringing to life the daily tasks of our ancestors through colors, smells and flavors. Let yourself be transported to Animal Island for a moment of relaxation in the heart of the marsh. A day filled with memories for the elderly and discoveries for the young.

Planning your stay around local events
There is always something happening around Le Petit Capelier. Issigeac’s famous Sunday market takes over the medieval village every week, while Bergerac, Eymet, Villeréal and Castillonnès host regular markets, brocantes, concerts, exhibitions and festivals throughout the year.
During the summer, look out for marchés gourmands and village fêtes, where long communal tables, local food, Bergerac wines and live music make for wonderfully relaxed evenings. The vineyards around Monbazillac and Bergerac also host tastings, concerts and special events throughout the season.
