Journées Européennes du Patrimoine | Micro-Folie et numérisation du patrimoine
Discover Micro-Folie through a selection of content dedicated to the history of photography, from the earliest images to contemporary practices.
During these three days, the Eden lobby will also host an initiative to collect and digitize local heritage. Take photos or scan your old photos, postcards, posters, documents, or small objects that tell the story of Eymet and its surrounding area. The goal is to build an image database designed to preserve this history and pass it on to future generations.
The Micro-Folie and this digitization project will be organized by volunteers and elected officials from the Culture Committee.

Planning your stay around local events
There is always something happening around Le Petit Capelier. Issigeac’s famous Sunday market takes over the medieval village every week, while Bergerac, Eymet, Villeréal and Castillonnès host regular markets, brocantes, concerts, exhibitions and festivals throughout the year.
During the summer, look out for marchés gourmands and village fêtes, where long communal tables, local food, Bergerac wines and live music make for wonderfully relaxed evenings. The vineyards around Monbazillac and Bergerac also host tastings, concerts and special events throughout the season.
