La Micro Folie de la CAB | Anne Frank House VR, Immersion dans l’annexe
In 1942, during World War II, Anne Frank, a thirteen-year-old Jewish girl, and her family were forced to go into hiding to escape Nazi persecution. For more than two years, the Franks and four others lived in ‘ the Secret Annex ‘of a former office building in Amsterdam, sharing the burden of living in hiding in cramped quarters under the constant threat of discovery. Anne Frank House VR offers a unique and emotional glimpse into those two years. Experience the world-famous Secret Annex in a way you’ve never seen before. Travel back to the years of World War II and wander through the rooms of the Annex that sheltered the group of eight Jews as they hid from the Nazis. Immerse yourself in Anne’s thoughts as you walk through each faithfully recreated room, thanks to the power of VR, and discover what happened to the brave residents.

Planning your stay around local events
There is always something happening around Le Petit Capelier. Issigeac’s famous Sunday market takes over the medieval village every week, while Bergerac, Eymet, Villeréal and Castillonnès host regular markets, brocantes, concerts, exhibitions and festivals throughout the year.
During the summer, look out for marchés gourmands and village fêtes, where long communal tables, local food, Bergerac wines and live music make for wonderfully relaxed evenings. The vineyards around Monbazillac and Bergerac also host tastings, concerts and special events throughout the season.
We update this calendar regularly as new events are announced, including some of the smaller local happenings that can be surprisingly difficult to discover online.
